Loves: Traveling and seeing the world, the checks and balances of bookkeeping, clients who email her jokes (life AND work should be fun!)
In her words
I enjoy working with small business owners. Many are busy with the day-to-day tasks of running their business and the bookkeeping piece is usually the last task that gets addressed. It is nice to be able to help give them the peace of mind that their books are being taken care of and they can focus on the making their business a success.
Bookkeeping is actually fun! I feel like it gets a bad wrap but it isn't this horrible thing. It is so fun at the end of the month when everything checks and balances! And don't worry if you make a mistake, it can be fixed!

In her words
I chose this job because I wanted to do something that developed my skills in a new way and kept me active in the business world while simultaneously raising two amazing young girls. I honestly get the best of both worlds. 85% of my time is spent loving on my sweet girls while the other 15% is spent developing my skills, connecting with clients by helping them stay up-to-date and organized with their books, being a part of a team of amazing women and doing something I really enjoy.

In her words
I have always had an interest in bookkeeping and I like working with small businesses or family-owned businesses. I wanted to stay home with my daughter but also still be a part of the business world and learn new skills. Each day is busy, fun, and different – watching my daughter grow, learning something new and being able to help my clients organize and stay up to date with their books.

By keeping my clients’ books, I hope to make their jobs a little bit easier. Anyway I can help them, I am happy to do so. I enjoy organizing and taking care of records by managing the bank register and transactions. I like working with clients who need help with their books and are patient.

I like working with clients who could benefit from a little extra help. I do my job so they can get back to doing what they love. I enjoy working with small businesses the most! Working part-time alongside being a mom looks like having more time with my kids to learn and grow and make memories while still pursuing a meaningful career.
